Pride - London 2019
I always think catching pride day in London or Brighton is a Street Photographers dream day. So many photographic opportunities with so many happy, chilled excited subjects just happy to have their photo taken.
London Pride is perhaps the biggest but my recommendation if it was your first time would be to go to Brighton. The parade and the after party are all close in the centre of Brighton and easy to walk around.
This was my second time at London Pride, my first was an accident and didn’t realise it was on! This time I planned to go up, got a good position on the parade route and just shot photos. I must admit most of my favourite street photos come after the parade when everyone is enjoying themselves around the streets of London and some great candid photos can be taken.
